Edunet Foundation was founded in 2015 as the non-profit arm of FICE Education Private Limited (www.fice.in). FICE promotes youth innovation, tinkering, making and helps young people prepare for industry 4.0 jobs. FICE has a national footprint. It works with regulators, state technical universities, engineering colleges and high schools around India.
Key initiatives include:
- Tinkering and Innovation Programs and Support to High Schools: FICE/EF have an active alliance with NITI Aayog (Government of India) to support their network of Atal Tinkering Labs across India.
- Technology Innovation and Acceleration: Through its alliance with the Innovation Acceleration Group at University of California Berkeley, FICE/EF provide micro accelerator and co-innovation programs to students across the education system with specific focus on K-12 and engineering education domains.
- Engineering Curriculum Upgrade: Domains covered include Embedded Systems, the Internet of Things, Analytics, HPC and Artificial Intelligence. Courseware, laboratories and faculty development is offered to top technical universities and engineering colleges.
